My name is Eliana Gutiérrez and I was born in Madrid (Spain). I studied advertising and PR, and after more than 10 years as publicist, I studied a specialization diploma in illustration from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. My style is fresh and fun. I love sketchy drawings and expressive, slightly ironic characters. Whenever possible I try to add a touch of humor to my drawings, and I definitely believe it keeps me connected with children and young people. I use to draw by digital, although I love sketching with pencil and ink. From time to time I encourage myself to use crayons, watercolors or other analog mediums to create textures and lines and use them in my digital drawings. I place creative and illustration workshops, all ages are welcome! I feel this time of creativity shared enriches me and makes me play and experiment. Because of my publicist background I am a rare specimen, half an artist, half a project manager, and I try to take advantage of it whenever I can. I am proudly represented by the Art&Kö agency.
