Felishia was born in Bandung, Indonesia, and has loved art and stories for as long as she can remember. While her classmates took notes in biology class, Felishia was often lost in her sketchbook, dreaming up characters and colorful worlds. She holds a BFA in graphic design and works as a freelance illustrator, creating images that play with light, shadow, and color. Felishia enjoys adding layers of meaning to her work through visual metaphors and she's always on the lookout for a little bit of magic in everyday life. These days, when she's not drawing, Felishia enjoys helping out at her family's spare parts shop in Sumedang or sketching whatever catches her eye in her sketchbook. She's always chasing that little spark of magic—especially in books, where she can travel anywhere without ever leaving her seat.
